The club’s annual fundraising event will be here before you know it! The Heart of Virginia will be held on Saturday, September 12, rain or shine, at Hanover County Government Complex, near the junction of Rt 301 North and Rt 54 West. We’re looking to have a big group of riders to take part.
If you have the interest and time to volunteer, the Heart of Virginia team could really use you! As there are things that need to be done before and after the event, you can help out even if you’re planning to ride.
Volunteers who have plenty of smiles, lots of patience, a strong sense of humor, a kind heart and can-do spirit especially if event logistics change without warning are the key to making our event so special every year. The event has been blessed year after year with volunteers who have the aforementioned qualities, and we hope for new faces as well as experienced hands to come forward this year.
